  • Ms. Léna GURRIARAN

Léna is a CIFRE PhD student at LSCE and Atos, under the supervision of Katsumasa Tanaka and Philippe Ciais. She is working on the impact of climate change on CO2 emissions from power generation. Her objectives are to find regional relationships between climate and power demand to project the evolution of demand with climate change under different scenarios to get the CO2 emissions. She is using machine learning algorithm like random forest to train the regionals models that are applied on climate projections from the CMIP6 simulation round to simulate the evolution of power demand.
